I have always been fascinated by different ways to nourish the body. Through various readings I learned about Ayurveda. I decided to find out more so I attended a workshop with Yogi Cameron and read some of his material.
Then I reserved a consultation with Tory Hyndman during a trip to Amsterdam for a yoga and writing workshop at Delight Yoga. I learned so much from Tory on how Ayurveda can provide a lifestyle boost if used as a practice during one's daily life. I have not incorporated all of Tory's suggestions (yet) although I have seen benefits from what she suggested.
I continue to be fascinated by the doshas and the various nuances that can help to rebalance one's body, and thereby rebalance one's life.
For these reasons, I wanted to feature Ayurveda in our retreats as a companion to yoga, yummy foods and the Arts :-)
